*Upcoming Storm Information* 12/20/2022
Dear Metro District Residents,
There is a winter storm bearing down on the Northern Colorado area which is forecasted to affect the region through early Friday. This storm is expected to bring only 1-3” of new snow, however the primary impact will be very low temperatures, with predicted wind chills as low as -55°.
With all of this in mind, the District is reaching out to you to alert you to the increased likelihood of service delays as crews work around added safety breaks due to the conditions, as well as the possibility of equipment-related delays resulting from the extreme conditions.
The District maintenance crews are committed to providing the best service in the timeliest manner possible. Rest assured that crews will make every reasonable effort to remain on schedule, however, crews may call upon residents for a little patience and understanding as crews navigate the exceptionally challenging weather conditions in the coming days.
Thank you for your understanding,
The Metro District Management Team
